Bio
Ken is a well-known figure in the terahertz research community with more than 40 years' experience developing cryogenic and detector instrumentation. He was awarded the Terahertz Technology Prize in 2022 by the Japanese International Symposium on Frontiers in THz Technology (FTT 2022). He has served for many years, now in an advisory role, on the International Organising Committee of the IRMMWTHz conference series, and was Chair of the 2007 edition of the conference at Cardiff in 2007.
